POSITION: Campaign Manager

The Campaign Manager is responsible for the design and execution of data-driven marketing initiatives for various external clients. This includes understanding and translating business requirements into a technology solution, then implementing that solution in an accurate, efficient and reliable manner.
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience working with data and is familiar with various data extraction/manipulation techniques such as select, filter, segment, merge-purge, joins, etc. The candidate must also have a strong aptitude to learn new tools and will be expected to become a power-user of a campaign management tool for use implementing data-driven marketing initiatives. This position provides growth opportunity for a driven and goal-oriented individual who takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Design data-driven marketing initiatives utilizing a campaign management tool, performing activities such as audience selection, trigger qualification, suppressions, segmentation and arbitration
- Execute campaigns (manual or automated) on a daily/weekly/monthly/as-needed basis and generate output files to be delivered through various marketing channels (e.g. Direct Mail, Email, Telesales, etc)
- Perform quality control activities to ensure processing completes in a timely manner and the output is accurate and complete
- Designing the standard operating procedures required to effectively streamline the campaign development process
- Work with the Account Management team to understand the campaign objectives, data specifications, technical requirements, etc.
- Work with the Information Technology team to understand the client’s data and collaborate to identify opportunities for improvement in processing efficiencies
- Provide input to the Account Management team in estimating hours for the project budget
- Maintain open communication with the entire team regarding current project status, issues, concerns, etc.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of relational databases, data structures and querying language (e.g. select, merge, join, group by, etc)
- Experience writing SQL statements for data extraction
- Understanding of direct marketing vernacular a plus (e.g. modeling, segmentation, test design, control groups, etc)
- Prior experience with campaign management / Business Intelligence tools a plus (e.g. CampaignRunner, Unica, Aprimo, Alteryx, etc.)
- An aptitude to learn new tools and software quickly
- Strong project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are provided on time
