This developer will be primarily responsible for front-end (JS/HTML/CSS) development. Ability to create Photoshop web designs would be a bonus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Write CSS to make (generally pre-existing) HTML look the way it should
- Develop Drupal themes based on PSDs
- Implement/develop jQuery scripts
- Work with back-end developers to create easy-to-use web applications
Requirements
- In depth knowledge of CSS (2 & 3), HTML (4 & 5)
- Understanding of browser nuances and ability to create cross browser compatible themes
- Very good with jQuery, JavaScript; ability to write jQuery plugins from scratch
- Good understanding of AJAX, JSON
- Attention to detail (pixel perfection)
- Work well in team environment, without much supervision.
- Desire to learn Drupal
- Fast learner, ability to search Google
- Familiarity with Photoshop (web design specific)
- Familiarity with Drupal
- Familiarity with basic PHP
- Familiarity with SASS/SCSS
- Familiarity with OS X and various programs
- Web design experience preferred.
- UX and UI skills preferred.
