A senior consultant with at least six years of client facing experience working on complex software projects. In addition to relevant technology domain expertise, this individual must have project management skills and the necessary writing skills to author complex specification documents, blueprints and proposals. The Technology Architect is the lead for most engagements and instills confidence through maturity, expertise and impeccable communications (written and oral) with ExactTarget customers. In addition to the common skills outlined in the attached skills matrix, the Technology Architect is expected to have or quickly develop two skills in each of the outlined categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative engagements with clients on the technical and business challenges related to e-communication initiatives
• Responsible for gathering business and technical requirements
• Present high-level overviews of the ExactTarget architecture and integration capabilities
• Oversee Solution implementation strategy.
• Deliver an actionable implementation framework that aligns a client's business needs to that of the ExactTarget Solution
• Owner and author of the Solution Document, including business requirements, conceptual design, and functional specifications.
• Managing multiple client engagements and work with associated team members
• Identify project issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve requirements
• Apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve issues related to the implementation of ExactTarget software
• Support ExactTarget Solution Consultants with key strategic sales opportunities by validating complex solutions
