CLEVELAND, OH (August 19, 2010) - Marketers from around the globe are constantly looking for ways to differentiate themselves through unique educational programs and certifications.  As an attempt to meet this demand, the Online Marketing Summit (OMI) is offering customizable in-person and online training on the latest trends and strategies in the fast-paced world of online marketing.  The Online Marketing Summit (OMI) is an education-focused, career development organization that offers marketers accreditation in the various fields of online marketing. On September 21, 2010, Metrics Marketing Group will host the in-person workshop at their offices in Westlake, Ohio and will participate as one of the featured instructors. 
 
The Online Marketing Institute (OMI) and Wharton Interactive Media Initiative are offering a new Intermediate Social Media Workshop Series in Cleveland to help educate marketing professionals on proven social media success.  Instructors from around the Cleveland area will discuss detailed case studies, must-know social media best practices geared toward maximizing ROI and branding, and "how-to" instructions for executing Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn campaigns.
 
Marci Hower, Vice President of Interactive Services at Metrics Marketing Group, was selected as one of the featured instructors for the workshop and will present "Translating the Data into Dollars - Measuring Social Media Success." Hower will discuss how to build a set of key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure success and make incremental improvements.  Her session will cover KPI's for both on-site and off-site properties such as blogs, Facebook and Twitter.

Marci Hower has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, design and interactive technologies to help clients with online direct marketing.  She has been involved in strategic engagements and works with clients such as America Greetings Interactive, Comcast, Midas, World Market Center and Kelly Services. Additional featured instructors include Steve Ennen, Managing Director at Wharton Interactive Media Initiative, and Sage Lewis, President of SageRock, Inc.
 
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm at Metrics Marketing Group at 905 Corporate Way, Suite 250 in Westlake, Ohio.  The full day workshop costs $579 for participants who register before September 1, 2010.  To register, please visit the Cleveland registration page.
